Welcome to Amsterdam Camera Repairs, where we specialize in the repair and maintenance of analog cameras, lenses and equipment.
With over 30 year's experience, our training and focus covers many brands including Leica, Hasselblad, Mamiya, Rolleiflex, Pentax, Plaubel Makina, Synchro-Compur, Copal, Nikon, Canon and many more.
ACR is one of the most respected analogue camera repair shops in Europe. Our workshops are located in the heart of de Pijp in Amsterdam and at Foto Delfshaven in Delft. We have a worldwide customer reach and are happy to accept repairs in person or via post.
We offer a full range of analogue camera services, from cleaning and calibration to full overhauls. We have access to thousands of new old stock (NOS) parts and some of the best tools, testing, and optical equipment available, including original factory equipment.
Repairs are covered by a 12-month transferable warranty
About Me
Film photography has been part of my life for over 30 years. My journey began as a camera technician in Dublin around 1986, where I worked with the industry's top brands including, Hasselblad, Leica, Mamiya, Rolleiflex, Pentax, Bronica, Nikon, Canon, and many more.
Film photography has been making a steady comeback, with amateurs and professionals discovering or rediscovering the creative control and the change in pace it offeres versus digital.
Having retired early from corporate life, I started ACR some years back to meet the ever-increasing needs of new film shooters as well as seasoned professionals and collectors.
I have recently been joined by two apprentices to whom I will pass on my decades of knowledge and over time we will expand our services to include specialist optical work as well as professional repaints and more.
